SHORELINE PROPERTY OWNERS INITIATE THE PROCESS
Shoreline Property Owners must grant permission to Avon Lakes Eco-Harvesting Association. Owners pay a nominal fee to offset operating costs and to have their area scheduled for harvesting. No membership fees, but all donations are tax-deductible and greatly appreciated.
The Eco-Harvester clears submerged vegetation from 4.5' beneath the water's surface.
PROPERTY OWNERS SELECT FROM ONE OF TWO OPTIONS THAT ARE AVAILABLE WITHOUT A PERMIT FROM THE DNR
OPTION A: $350
• A channel starting within 12" water depth
• 15 foot wide channel
• A direct route to accessible water
This route can extend from 50 feet to 300 feet, whichever distance is needed to get to accessible water.
OPTION B: $350
• Shoreline vegetation clean-up totaling no more than 2,500 square feet

Example 1: 50 feet of shoreline times 50 feet out in the water would be 2,500 square feet.

YOU CAN SELECT BOTH OPTION A & B
COMBINED FOR $650
